LYSD is April 26th. LYS Day has brought thousands of ‘yarnies’ from across the US and Canada to go to their local shops to see the exclusive, unique products created specifically for LYS Day. Think of it as an international Yarn Crawl! Local yarn store day is always the last Saturday in April.
WNC Yarn Crawl is May 6th-11th. The Western North Carolina Yarn Crawl gives you and your friends a chance to create a self guided tour, stopping by as many (or all!) Local Yarn Stores during this event for a chance to win prizes, shop great deals and specials! The WNC Yarn Crawl is held every year during the week leading up to Mother’s Day.

We are excited to be part of the NC Yarn Tour, July 1st-31st. NCYT-From the Mountains to the Sea is a self-guided tour connecting fiber artists and enthusiasts with locally-owned yarn shops, farms and fiber destinations across the state. This event encourages the fiber arts community to discover and support local businesses, while also exploring the beautiful state of North Carolina. Throughout the month of July, participating shops will celebrate with special events and attractions, exclusive merchandise, and prizes for Yarn Tour Shoppers. Interested participants will need to buy a ticket to have full access to everything the NCYT has to offer. Tickets ($25) can be purchased Online, we also have a website being built that will have more information. Tickets are available now on our website until June 8, 2025. Anyone who purchases a ticket will receive a commemorative tote/swag bag, souvenir guide book, custom patterns for the event using mini skeins that can be purchased at each shop. Bag/Ticket-holding participants will have the opportunity to purchase NCYT-exclusive items at participating shops and be eligible for NCYT-only giveaways. The bags can be shipped (at an additional cost) or picked up at a shop, the shopper can decide. The shopper will need to have their bag or ticket to access the exclusive items at the shop. At the end of the Tour, there will be a drawing for three Grand Prize Baskets; any participant who has bought a ticket is eligible to win one of these baskets.
